Genghis Khan
The Mongol empire started in the 1200's and the Mongol empire was the dominating empire from 1300-1600. There empire had a dictator ship, a dictatorship is a government ruled by one individual which means all the decisions and power is all on this one person. Genghis Khan was the first ruler of the Mongol empire, also he was the founder of the empire. About the time he died he assigned Ogedei Khan as his successor and split the empire up and distributed it to his sons and grandsons. The Mongol empire actually emerged from the Mongol and Turkic tribes and they are the ones who elected the greatest ruler of there time.
Ögedei Khan
After Genghis was proclaimed Emperor or Khagan in 1206, myangans (1000's) of the Jalayir, Besud, Suldus, Khongqatan clans were given to him as his appanage. Ogedei's territory occupied the Emil and Hobok rivers. According to his father's wish, Ilugei, the commander of the Jalayir, became Ogedei's tutor. The third son of Genghis khan (the founder of the mongol empire) and second great khan of the mongol Empire. He followed his fathers foot steps in expanding the Mongol Empire. He was a great world figure when the Mongol Empire reached its greatest extent going west and south.
Möngke Khan
Möngke Khan (Mongolian: Мөнх хаан), born Möngke, (January 10, 1209 – August 11, 1259 ), was the fourth Great Khan of the Mongol Empire from July 1, 1251 – August 11, 1259. He was the first Great Khan from the Toluid line, and made significant reforms to improve the administration of the Empire during his reign. Under Möngke, the Mongols conquered Iraq and Syria as well as the kingdom of Nanzhao and the area of present-dayVietnam.
