The Mongols warfare tactics and how they was actually organized allowed Ghangis Khan and the empire to capture nearly all of continental Asia, the Middle East and parts of eastern Europe. Ghangis Khan organized his army into groups or units of so many people and was overseen by the jurtchi. (Jurtchi- the tumen quartermaster.) Each of the soldiers would maintain three to four horses which allowed them to get around fast because when was wore out they could get on the other one so it allowed them to travel faster.
The warriors training was hard but it wasn't overly harsh or unreasonable. They also traveled and packed light so they could move fast on land. Each soldier carried what they need to survive which made them independent and they go off and split up for a ambush. There main weapons were the mongol bow and the sword basic weapons but they were super accurate and powerful because the mongols training.
